FREE DIGITAL SKILLS TRAINING
at Llanbedr Village Hall
We are thrilled to announce that FREE digital skills training is coming to our community — delivered by CWMPAS, a Welsh organisation funded by the UK Government.
Thanks to the support of Jonathan Latham (Chairperson)Gwenda Williams (Treasurer) and myself as Secretary, and with the Hall Management Committee waiving all venue fees, we are working with CWMPAS to make this opportunity available to all residents — at no cost!
DROP-IN SESSIONS (1-to-1 Support)
No booking required – just bring your device and your questions!
Whether its QR codes, YouTube, apps or settings — we’re here to help.
(Note: No repairs can be carried out.)
 – Tuesday 26th August – 10:00am to 12:00pm
 – Monday 22nd September – 10:00am to 12:00pm
-Tuesday 28th October – 10:00am to 12:00pm
WORKSHOPS (Group Learning – 2 hours)
Friendly, hands-on sessions for beginners and improvers alike.
 –  Monday 17th November – Getting Started with Your Device
– Monday 24th November – Online Safety
 – Monday 1st December – Shopping & Saving Money Online
– Monday 15th December – Exploring the Digital World
– All workshops run from 10:00am to 12:00pm

We hope to add further Drop-ins and Workshops in 2026.

Free Tree’s – Woodland Trust in Wales

Wales Tree Giveaway: My Tree Our Forest - Woodland Trust

The Welsh Government, working with The Woodland Trust are giving a free tree to Welsh households under their slogan My Tree our Forest.

Llanbedr Community Council will be distributing the trees at the Village Hall on Sunday 26th Feb, and Sunday 5th March 10.30-14.30. Max one tree per household.

Parking at the Village Hall

Parking restrictions have now been put in place at the Village Hall to enable access for legitimate users of the hall and its facilities.

Permits will be issued in accordance with the following Guidelines…

Allowed

  • Residents who already have official parking permission.
  • Residents living close to Village Hall and do not have a driveway at their residence
  • Attending events at the hall organised by local Church, School or Community Council

Not Allowed

  • Tradesmen/ Contractors not working at the hall.
  • Residents who live more than 200 meters from the hall.
  • Non-Residents of the Village.
  • Residents of the Village using the car park for not-hall related activities such as walking, cycling or social activities.
  • Residents of the Village who have a private driveway at their residence
